En r\u00e9alisant cet \u00e9pisode, j&rsquo;ai commenc\u00e9 par vouloir trouver des \u00ab\u00a0chiffres\u00a0\u00bb pour \u00e9clairer cet entretien. Et une fois de plus, au terme de mes recherches, j&rsquo;ai fini par me dire que les chiffres ne disaient pas grand chose&#8230; Par exemple, on sait que 8% des fils d&rsquo;ouvrier parviennent \u00e0 \u00eatre dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s du sup\u00e9rieur. C&rsquo;est un indice, bien s\u00fbr. Mais Guillaume, lui, ne s&rsquo;ins\u00e8re pas dans cette cat\u00e9gorie. Fils de carrier, il a commenc\u00e9 ma\u00e7on, et aujourd&rsquo;hui, il est patron d&rsquo;une jolie PME du BTP. Quand on le pousse \u00e0 faire les comptes de son patrimoine, on parvient \u00e0 quelques millions&#8230; pourtant, il n&rsquo;est pas pass\u00e9 par la m\u00e9ritocratie scolaire, il ne s&rsquo;est pas \u00ab\u00a0hiss\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb dans les stats par un choix de carri\u00e8re tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rent de son milieu d&rsquo;origine. Il a juste gagn\u00e9 plus d&rsquo;argent, dans le sillon creus\u00e9 par son p\u00e8re, il a mieux \u00ab\u00a0r\u00e9ussi\u00a0\u00bb. Et au vu de sa fortune et de ses signes ext\u00e9rieurs de richesse, on pourrait dire que c&rsquo;est un bourgeois. Mais \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9couter, on comprend surtout qu&rsquo;il flotte entre deux mondes, sans plus vraiment de place fixe. Socialement, comme il le dit, il n&rsquo;a \u00ab\u00a0pas les codes\u00a0\u00bb des notables de son quartier. Vis \u00e0 vis de ses pairs ouvriers du b\u00e2timent, il est leur \u00ab\u00a0patron\u00a0\u00bb. Trop riche pour \u00eatre \u00e0 \u00e9galit\u00e9 avec \u00ab\u00a0ses gars\u00a0\u00bb, trop d\u00e9cal\u00e9 pour fraterniser avec ceux qui ont autant d&rsquo;argent que lui, anim\u00e9 de valeurs qui font qu&rsquo;il dit \u00ab\u00a0d\u00e9tester\u00a0\u00bb les rentiers, attir\u00e9 par un monde de l&rsquo;art dont il peine \u00e0 trouver l&rsquo;entr\u00e9e&#8230; quelle place lui reste-t-il ?
